Immune-Boosting Meal-Prep Tip

Forget the flu shot! This immune-boosting green juice will give you your daily dose of healthy nutrients to fight the common cold and keep your sniffles at bay!

If you want to boost your immune system with just pennies on the dollar, then you have come to the right place! Staying healthy does not have to be expensive or take a bunch of doctor visits. What we eat can literally heal our bodies and keep the common cold and flu at bay! This simple, yet effective, immune-boosting green juice is a great addition you can add to any of your meal-prep snacks or meals! Similar to the smoothie packs idea I shared with you in my previous post this green juice can be made ahead of time and stored in your freezer for later use. I rinse and chop all my fresh ingredients and store them in individual ziplock baggies and put in my freezer. When I am ready to use them, I empty the contents into my Nutribullet and add my coconut water with fresh lemon juice and blend! You are on your way to the healthiest you, you've only imagined! Immune-Boosting Green Juice Pack Base:

*Fill a ziplock baggie with ingredients below, and store in freezer

  • 1 handful greens (ex: spinach, kale, or mix)

  • 1/2 large apple, chopped

  • 1 celery stock, chopped

  • 1/3 cucumber, sliced

  • 1/4 parsley or cilantro, chopped

  • 1 sleaver of ginger root

Luxurious Add-on's:

*Choose as many as you want, and add to your ziplock baggie with ingredients above, and store in freezer

If you want to make your juice packs last for a week or two, then fill 7-14 ziplock baggies with your ingredients from your "Immune-Boosting Green Juice Base List," and as many as you want from your "Luxurious Add-on's List," and store in the freezer. When you are ready to enjoy, then empty your ziplock baggie into your blender (I use the Nutribullet). Then add your 1 - 1 1/2 cups of liquid of choice (My favorite is 100% coconut water) with a 1/2 lemon, juiced. Blend ~ Sip ~ Enjoy!

***ALL recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-sugar. Great for Whole30, Paleo, and some Vegetarian diets. Any dish that has meat products can be substituted for the vegan meatless alternative.
