Protein Balls Made Simple:

Don’t waste anymore time strolling the protein bar isle at the grocery store… I got great news for you!

Have you ever found yourself lost in the protein bar isle at the grocery store looking at endless nutrition labels and finding something extremely wrong with almost all of them? Well, I have! That’s why I rarely eat protein bars at the convenience store anymore. They are packed with artificial flavors and additives. Not to mention, they are loaded with way too much sugar or fake sugars that leave you bloated and burping… Yuck! Who wants that? No one does! So, I rely on this simple, yet tasty treat to help me power through my day. They tickle my tastebuds, helping me feeling energetic and strong! Not sluggish and lazy! Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats (depending if you want to make a lot or a little)

  • 1 - 2 scoops of protein powder of choice (my favorite is: Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein Vanilla)

  • 1/2 cup organic nut butter of choice (my favorite is: Simple Truth Organic Peanut Butter)

  • 2 - 4 tbsp. organic honey or 100% pure maple syrup (depends how sweet you like them)

  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

  • dash of pink sea salt (optional)

Directions:

  • Mix the dry ingredients well in a mixing bowl.

  • Add the peanut butter and honey.

  • Stir well till the consistency is like cookie dough.

  • Roll into 2 inch balls and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

  • Lasts up to a week or can store extra in the freezer!


***ALL recipes are gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-sugar. Great for Whole30, Paleo, and some Vegetarian diets. Any dish that has meat products can be substituted for the vegan meatless alternative.
